PROJECT

Illawarra Medical Services was established over 40 years ago as a family practice located in the heart of Berkeley. Owned and operated by Dr. Neill Jover and Dr. Myrna Jover since 2005, Illawarra Medical Services is the only general medical practice in Berkeley.

Visual imagery throughout the site was inspired by the medical profession. The logomark referenced the Caduceus medical symbol, while hexagons referenced shapes found in medicine, such as benzene and cyclic compounds and skin cell structure. Their use in a fractalized manner, mimicked structures throughout the human anatomy, such as veins, neurons, bronchial trees, biliary and urinary tubing systems. The clean vectors found in the site were clinical, with photography of staff at work used to create a personalised feel important in the medical profession.
